At North Cristian Church, we encourage everyone to work for Christ by finding a place to serve. Come, find joy in sharing your talents to strengthen our church family.
We appreciate the service of those willing to come before the worship service to prepare the elements for communion.
There are always opportunities to pray for the needs of God's church and the prayer requests of our congregation.
Hour of Prayer at Highview on Tuesday mornings at
10 AM - an opportunity to join with others in lifting up prayers of any measure.
Prayer Tree - If you are willing to pray for others, ask to be included in our prayer tree. When a need comes to our attention, prayer tree members are called upon to lift up prayers for those facing an emergency. The focus is often on illness, injury, surgery, and end of life.
Philippians 4: 6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Looking for an idea that can lift the spirits of another? Take a moment to write a thoughtful, compassionate, and encouraging note card to those going through a difficult time. Let someone know they have a friend in you at North Christian who not only understands but who genuinely cares.
Food PANTRY support
We are pleased to offer ongoing support to the Bethany Food Pantry (at Gethsemene Lutheran Church). You can bring non-perishable food and hygiene items with you each Sunday to place in our Food Bank donation crate. You'll find it just inside the door as you enter. Additionally, we are collecting donations to support a matching grant that will give the Food Pantry fresh wall paint, shelving, and a new door.
Sunday Morning Greeter
We are always looking for people to serve as Sunday morning greeters. Wear your smile to joyfully welcome those entering for worship, and kindly hold the door for those needing assistance.
